Proz trying to defame Transquotation Through the Same Blog

Proz is obviously bothered by TransQuotation's popularity and it is very strange indeed as to why they are making new threads on their site over and over again about the same thing, using the same words such as scam etc.  They are actually looking ridiculous as of course a competition site loves to post negative blogs, even though TQ has never posted negative blogs by current or past Proz members.  Did you know you cannot post a "positive" blog about competition sites on Proz.  Andy must work for them otherwise there is no explanation as to why they are so vested in protecting him when they would not even know what transpired.  It is absolutely childish and bad business practice by Proz.

I tried to post a positive comment regarding my TransQuotation membership but Proz did not put the thread up.

I am one of the freelancers that was scammed by Andy Tsai. I want to thank TransQuotation for informing everyone about him. It is really unfortunate how blind people at Proz can be. Do the translators over there not realize that the blogging is overkill and very strange how much they are protecting this one lone translator. Something definitely is not right.

Ok this is what is really funny. Proz is saying that TQ is copying projects from them and putting them on their site. I constantly post on Translators Cafe, the frequent response I receive from translators is "I am replying to your job posted on Proz" They are really one to talk.

I can tell you exactly what happened. I am a Proz insider. They allowed Andy Tsai to write a negative blog about their competition, thinking why not (basically using him). Then when they found out that he is the scam in this scenario and that he stole money from people they did not know what to do and had to backtrack and they panicked. So they decided their strategy would be to say it is a "fake" scam alert regarding Andy and then make all these blogs (as many as they can) stating then with complete surety that he is not. (That part really gave them away) Also not allowing PROZ and TQ members who are happy with their TQ membership to post any positive threads, and adding project copying just to try to sweeten the pot.

I am a Chinese to English and English to Chinese translator. What I am most angry about is that Proz has given this Andy so much free advertising. I had to pay Proz for that kind of advertising. I know it is negative advertising and not sure why he is bringing so much negative publicity but at the same time it is still advertising and that is completely unfair.

I am a Chinese-English - English-Chinese translator and what angers me the most is all this free advertising that Andy is receiving from Proz. I realize there are negative aspects but still I had to pay Proz for that kind of advertising. I am not happy about this at all.

What is really amusing is that many SCAM jobs come from Proz site. To prove it, translators even discuss this on THEIR forums. Nobody attacks them for these jobs, either they are not vetting them good or perhaps translators out there, they are posting FAKE jobs.
Have a look, ironic that these bloggers are not angry directly at Proz

Transquotation.com has been an excellent site for finding projects. Their ethics are much higher than Proz in that they do not write those kind of blogs about them.
